I really love this necklace. I was at a local hardware store and happened to walk by a row of different sized washers. I couldn’t help but notice that they looked just like flattened out chainmaille rings. The result? An awesome necklace! It’s actually made with two different size washers and 4 different sized chainmail jump rings. It’s very interesting!

The washers have some great texture to them, and still have the original hardware store markings on the back of them for that authentic feeling. The center focal piece hangs from a length of silver plated chain.
