Gridlock Byzantine Sterling Necklace

Each one of the solid sterling (.925) rings in this necklace was opened, woven around others, and then closed by hand. Hundreds of rings were used. The gridlock byzantine weave of chainmail is very intricate looking and substantial. This necklace was made of small 20 gauge rings, so it’s one of the more delicate necklaces of this pattern that you will see.

A row of 14 karat gold fill rings were woven into the center on one side. It’s reversible, so if you’d like the solid silver look, that can still be achieved while leaving the option for a bit of gold to peak through on other occasions.

This necklace will be tumble polished for ultimate shine, durability, and smoothness before shipment.

This is a short necklace, so be sure to take a measurement before ordering. If you’d like it to be extended, this can be done for an additional fee.
