JPL stands for Jens Pind Linkage, which is a great little chainmaille pattern. It is a spiral that keeps its shape. It has to be woven with a very specific ring size, or else the pattern will just fall apart. I happen to have used just the right ring size here to create this necklace.

It is superbly flexible, and so lightweight it is almost unbelievable. You’ll put it on in the morning and won’t remember you’re wearing it until someone compliments you on it. It is a great base chain that can be worn layered with other necklaces. It’s a bit thick to hang most pendants from, unless they have a relatively large bail/connecting ring or they are just large rings themselves (like a wedding ring, for example).

It’s a great every day necklace that goes well with everything. It’s 3/8 inch thick. All the rings rotate freely, so the necklace feels great to just run through your fingers and fiddle with. I know you’ll love it! Currently sized at 15 3/4 inches long, but size adjustments can be made.
