Each one of the solid sterling (.925) rings in this necklace was opened, woven around others, and then closed by hand. Hundreds of rings were used. The byzantine (also called birdcage) weave of chainmail is a timeless classic. Intricate looking, delicate, and perfectly suited for every day wear, or special occasions.

It is finished with a handmade (by me) sterling silver hook and eye clasp. This clasp is very easy to use. If you’d prefer a lobster or spring ring clasp, one can be substituted.

This necklace has been tumble polished for ultimate shine and durability, and will be retumbled before shipment to ensure you get a gorgeous piece of jewelry.
