Dark violet genuine amethyst rondelles are suspended between lengths of handmade chainmaille. The faceted beads have been wire wrapped in sterling wire for security. Each ring in the chainmaille sections was opened, woven, and closed one at a time.

A handmade sterling silver hook and eye clasp secures the lengths of chain attached to the large necklace focal. Another solitary amethyst bead dangles from the “eye” part of the clasp.
