Shiny sterling silver contrasts with varying shades of violet niobium in this handmade chainmaille bracelet. All the silver is solid sterling silver which has been tumble polished for ultimate shine and durability. The purple rings are niobium, which is a relatively new metal to the jewelry scene. It’s hypoallergenic, so you’ll be able to wear this metal if you’re allergic to others. The shades of purple vary slightly from ring to ring for a lovely organic feel.

Each ring has been opened, woven into other rings, and closed by hand. It is a time-consuming process, but the results are amazing. The weave is called “Helm” or “Parallel Chain” because there are two rows of rings that run parallel to each other, only connected by the middle horizontal rings, not each other. This bracelet certainly won’t go unnoticed. The clasp is a handmade (by me) hook clasp.
